Assessment Studio – license model
In this
section, you can gain an overview of the Assessment Studio license model. By
that, you are able to easily estimate, how many licenses you will need in your
enterprise or department.
Types of
licenses
- Single User License (USB)
A
single-user license is a single-seat license. This license is computer-bound
and cannot be transferred to other PCs. For registration, Match Technologies
requires the MAC-address of the used PC. By choosing a single-user license, the
business acquires a complete license of the respective version of Assessment
Studio, unlimited in time.
A floating
license can be installed on up to 10 PCs. The floating license contains a
USB-dongle, by which Assessment Studio can be run actively on a PC. The
Assessment Studio Floating License is a complete license, unlimited in time.
- Floating Server License (USB)
The
software Assessment Studio as Floating Server License can be installed on up to
10 PCs. The basic module of the Floating Server License is installed centrally
on a server (USB-dongle). While the software is running, the user has access to
the license as well. The server manages the license and its usage. The
Assessment Studio Floating License is a complete license, unlimited in time. We
recommend the purchase of a Floating Server License for a department of 10
persons.
Further
types of licenses
In pilot
projects or for the exclusive use of the license for demonstration purposes, Match
Technologies offers customers and partners an improved license of Assessment
Studio as a Consultant License. Consultant Licenses can be requested by public
institutions, such as universities or institutes.
Customers
and partners can use the license free of cost for a period of 4 weeks. Match
Technologies can offer support according to a prior agreement.
- Enterprise / Department License
With a greater roll-out of licenses in an
enterprise or a department, enterprise- or department licenses can be offered,
depending on the volume of licenses.
If
requested, you receive an additional maintenance- and support-contract with a
running time of one year, which contains the following services:

- Reaction-time on request
(tickets) up to 48 hours
- Seperate on-site service
